When coupled with a properly designed air delivery device, centrifugal air blowers provide superior blow off, drying or air rinsing, to improve product quality, while reducing energy usage by 50 – 80%. Available in sizes from 3 hp up to 20 hp, Paxton offers three series of belt-driven centrifugal blowers.
Paxton Products custom-engineers Air Systems for all types of applications, first designing the air delivery device needed based on product size and shape, line speeds and configurations, and other factors. Next, the centrifugal blower is sized based on the air volume and pressure needed for the application, resulting in maximum efficiency and performance. The new PX-series blowers offer unmatched efficiency. Compared to other
high efficiency centrifugal blowers, including Paxton’s own AT-series,
the PX-series is 33% more efficient, with blower efficiencies as high as
76%. That means you’ll use 33% less energy!
Paxton has completely redesigned the blower impeller and scroll,
improving aerodynamics to generate 33% more airflow per horsepower input.
More Power
The PX-2000 generates as much as 1500 cfm of air flow, with its 20 hp
motor. Compare this with only 1125 cfm of air flow with typical 20
hp blowers.
Less Energy
The PX-1500 uses a 15 hp motor but generates as much air flow as standard
20 hp blower. That means you’ll save over $2000 in electrical costs
annually – that’s 25% of the operating cost.

The XT-series blowers are Paxton’s highest efficiency blowers for drying
and process air applications of all types. Return on investment is often
times about one year. The XT-series is available in 3 hp and 5 hp models.
The XT-300 is Paxton’s smallest blower and is the foundation of the PowerDry™
System. The XT-series features an auto-tension belt drive designed specifically
to enhance the performance, efficiency and service life of the XT-series’
smaller motors. And the energy requirements for the XT-series is substantially
less than that of a typical centrifugal blower: an XT-500, for example,
delivers 20% more flow at the same pressure when compared to a standard
5 hp centrifugal blower.
