High-efficiency Screw-Channel Pumps
Verderhus screw-channel pumps are suitable for the handling of flowable
slurries, sludges and solid-laden media such as in wastewater treatment
such as thick sludge, sewage and the recirculation of lime chemical.
The range has excellent utility in agricultural and related facilities
such as chicken necks and bone-laden animal waste in abattoirs and macerated
food or crops in the production of bio gas.
The pump range is commonly seen in breweries handling thick and abrasive
media such as malt mash, yeast and kieselguhr.
Other applications include the handling of thick fluid streams in power
stations and pulp in the production of paper.
The Verderhus range of pumps can transport numerous types of slurry and
sludge with minimal wear, thanks to a large, open impeller based on the
working principle of a corkscrew.
The suction port is a large inlet of at least 50mm which allows the easy passage
of pulverized and intact solids. The wide flow path is insensible to clogging,
ragging and when pumping long fibrous fluids.
The Verderhus range of screw channel pumps is available in several
different sizes, ranging from 50 - 200 mm.
Close coupled screw channel pump available on a horizontal base plate or a base plate for vertical installation. Flow up to 1.500 m³/
Long coupled screw channel pump available in standard design and with V belt drive. Flow up to 1.500 m³/h
