The Most Efficient Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps
The Verderair range includes a series of special pump models for specific applications relevant in many industries and application areas.
All standard Verderair VA diaphragm pumps have a maximum air pressure
rating of 8.4 bar. Verderair offers also a range of high pressure models.
They have the same benefits and reliable features as standard VA series
models. Those pumps will generate a discharge pressure which is +/- 2 times
the supplied air pressure.
Application areas for the Verderair high pressure range include milk
or lime, thin slurry, chemicals and polymers and waste water and effluents
in waste water treatment.
The Verderair high pressure series is especially suitable for charging filter presses. The higher the pressure that is achieved, the dryer and therefore lighter the filter cake will be. This results in cost savings of disposal of the filter cake. Verderair high pressure pumps are constructed to be self-regulating for filter press feeding. The high pressure pumps can run dry safely, will not over pressure, has an excellent self priming capability and is very easy to start up.
Verderair air operated diaphragm pumps are excellent drum pumps.Conventional
drum pumps such as rod pumps are good tank emptying systems. For the emptying
of small barrels, containers, canisters and drums (approx. 200 l) of all
kind of chemicals such as acids or lye a double diaphragm pump is a very
good alternative to a conventional rod drum pump. Diaphragm pumps can pump
corrosive, viscous and abrasive fluids with ease.
Because of the working principle of a double diaphragm pump, corrosive,
viscous and abrasive fluids can be transferred with ease. These are air
driven pumps therefore no overpressure protection systems are needed. The
maximum discharge pressure will be equal to the supplied air pressure.
As other drum pump systems the Verderair drum pump is of sealless design
ensuring leak free operation.
A dual port diaphragm pump (split manifold) allows the diaphragms of the
pump chambers to operate separately. The separation of the chambers allows
the pumping of two fluids simultaneously or the mixing of two fluids with
the pumping action.
A dual port diaphragm pump transfers UV paint in the printing press and
empties the residue UV varnish from the drip tray under the same machine.
The capacity of both diaphragm chambers is always the same so the press
will never overflow and the cylinders absorb the paint completely.
