They provide up to HEPA Quality air and gas filtration with hydrophobic polypropylene-graded density depth medium with superior flow rates, lower pressure drops, higher capacity and longer filter life. Removes absolute particle rated 0.3 micron.

Sterilizing-grade Filter Cartridge

They are designed to completely remove bacteria, viruses and particles from air and gas streams, even in the presence of humidity and moisture. Also retains 100% of Brevundimonas diminuta bacteria, bacteriophage and virus aerosols.

Metal Filter Cartridge

The metal filter cartridges are made from fine stainless steel powders sintered to form rugged high voids and fixed pore filters with high temperature, pressure and solvent resistance. Particle removal at: 0.4,0.8,1.3,11, 20,25,55,85,175, and 350 micron.

Other Filters

The filter element is used for sterile filtration of compressed air, process air, technical gases and vent applications. The retention rate is 99.99998% for all particles 0.01µm and larger, ensuring safe and sterile filtration of process gases. The filter element provides low pressure drop, high dirt-holding capacity, great strength, and long service life to dramatically reduce your operating costs. This element is used in compressed air and gas applications, including tank ventilation.

Candle Pre-Coat Filter

This candle pre-coat filter consists of a cylindro-conical vessel with a separating plate that divides the clean filtrate (dished lid) and unfiltered fluid (cylindro-conical vessel component). In the upper, dished end, the clean filtrate is discharged. The conical lower part of the vessel is designed to collect and discharge the spent kieselguhr slurry during cleaning allowing the distribution of the suspension during pre-coating and filtration. The unfiltered product with the added kieselguhr enters the pointed end of the vessel cone. The rod-shaped filter cartridges are mounted into the intermediate plate in a suspended manner. The staggered arrangement in a hexagonal configuration yields maximum use of the cake space at the end of the filtration run.

PROFi Membrane System For DE-Free Clarification of Beer

Changing requirements in the brewing industry have encouraged brewers to rethink their production technologies. Environmental aspects, consumer protection, water shortages, variations in raw material quality, labor costs or an increasing sort-variety are all factors influencing future decisions into new installations.

The PROFi membrane system is a modern beer clarification solution that minimizes waste, water and utility consumption while increasing brewery production efficiency. Designed for automated, continuous operation, PROFi membrane systems deliver speed and flexibility of brand changes with bright beer quality and high yield. The modular block design maximizes product security, cleaning effectiveness and utility usage.

The PROFi system combines a high performance centrifuge with a “zero retentate” crossflow membrane filter unit to provide efficient, DE-free clarification of beer. PROFi system technology is a co-operation between Pall Food and Beverage and GEA Westfalia Separator GmbH. It is the engineered result of significant Research and Development built on the extensive and unique brewing experience of the two companies.

The PROFi system technology offers a smart solution to the demands of the brewing industry offering complete DE-free clarification with direct value to the brewery.

Keraflux™ - TFF System

The increasing cost of raw materials and energy are forcing the brewing industry to investigate new opportunities for increasing extract yield without compromising quality. Excess yeast contains a significant amount of extract which can be recovered by concentrating the yeast with modern cross flow technology. By combining this technology with controlled diafiltration the yield can even be boosted. The recovered beer can be blended to the original beer up to a level of 5% volume without negatively influencing the taste. Thus, beer recovery can make a big contribution to cost savings in the brewery.

Aria™ Automatic Backwashable Water Filtration Systems

Pall has extensive experience in providing membrane solutions for municipal water treatment and is dedicated to advancing its technology to ensure simple and cost-effective solutions that achieve reliable process control. Pall Aria FB membrane filtration systems incorporate unique features which enable food and beverage plants to achieve high water quality at reduced operating costs (up to 50% compared to conventional treatment methods), while ensuring high microbiological process safety.

SUPRApak™ L-Series-SA Systems

SUPRApak L Series-SA filtration units are turn-key systems designed for use with SUPRApak L filter modules. They revolutionize depth filtration applications in the food and beverage industry, providing a cost-effective alternative to classical sheet filtration.

SUPRApak L filtration units provide a closed system approach to high capacity depth filtration, maximizing product protection and minimizing product losses. Lower cost of ownership is achieved due to higher throughput, yield improvement, and reduced handling, cleaning, maintenance and downtime costs, when compared to sheet filtration.

SUPRApak L technology is ideal for use in distilled spirits, beer, sweetener, enzyme, gelatin, yeast extract, and other food and beverage applications.

SUPRApak L Series-SA units provide a complete installation package including standard accessories, which allows quick integration into an existing system. They hold from one to six SUPRApak L modules, representing up to approximately 60 m2 (646 ft2) of filtration area in a very compact and low hold-up volume design. They are available either in single dome or flexible modular design.

Continuous Beer Stabilization (CBS) System

The Pall Continuous Beer Stabilization (CBS) System provides a seamless link in the production process between continuous clarification and final filtration that improves product consistency and reduces cost, labor and waste. The system debuts this week at Brau Beviale 2010 in Nuremberg, Germany, one of the leading exhibitions of equipment and technology for the beverage industry.

By introducing a continuous stabilization capability, the Pall CBS system enables an uninterrupted mode of operation throughout the production cycle. This eliminates the need for batch PVPP or Silicagel dosing and the associated costs of labor, time and product waste during tank handling. The streamlined process also enhances product consistency and maximizes throughput at customizable volumes ranging from 100 hl/h to 600 hl/h. The system is the perfect link between Pall’s PROFi technology for continuous beer clarification and Cluster Filtration (CFS) technology for beer final filtration.

Particle Depth Filter Cartride

These filter cartridges are high efficiency depth style filters constructed of polypropylene. Constructed of polypropylene, with a continuously graded fixed pore structure, these cartridges provide pre- and final filtration within the same cartridge resulting in lower overall filtration and disposal cost.

The filter cartridges provide a removal efficiency of >99.98% in compatible liquids with consistent filtration performance.

Size remove: from 0.5 micron to 100 micron

Particle-pleated Filter Cartridge

The filter cartridges are all-polypropylene pleated filters with high flow and high contaminant holding capacity for longer on-stream life. The filter media is produced by using a proprietary melt-blowing process that delivers exceptional product consistency.
