Metal Filter Cartridge

The metal filter cartridges are made from fine stainless steel powders sintered to form rugged high voids and fixed pore filters with high temperature, pressure and solvent resistance. Particle removal at: 0.4,0.8,1.3,11, 20,25,55,85,175, and 350 micron.

Other Filters

The filter element is used for sterile filtration of compressed air, process air, technical gases and vent applications. The retention rate is 99.99998% for all particles 0.01µm and larger, ensuring safe and sterile filtration of process gases. The filter element provides low pressure drop, high dirt-holding capacity, great strength, and long service life to dramatically reduce your operating costs. This element is used in compressed air and gas applications, including tank ventilation.

Series Depth Filter Sheets

Seitz K series depth filter sheets were developed to meet the entire range of removal requirements in the food and beverage industry.

From the selection and quality control of raw materials to application of the latest production technologies, the K filter sheets meet the highest quality standards.

K filter sheets are available in multiple grades suitable for microbial reduction and applications requiring fine, clarifying and coarse filtration.

Depth Filter Modules

Stacked disc modules have a long history in Food and Beverage applications. They arose out of the need to package sheet-based depth filter technology in more user-friendly, modular closed systems, especially for small batch production or medium flow rate applications. Due to the relative high dirt holding capacity and filtration performance of filter sheet-based products, they provided an optimal and cost-effective solution for handling food and beverage fluids.

The filtration effect of these sheet-based products is based on a combination of surface, depth, and adsorptive filtration. Selected combinations of cellulose, different types of filter aids, or other ingredients in the filter matrix result in a highly porous structure, which achieves effective filtration, including coarse to fine particle removal, colloidal removal, and final filtration.

Classic stacked disc modules represent first generation module design, but they have performance disadvantages.

FIT System

The FIT System is a new modular crossflow system specifically designed for wine clarification and polish filtration at small wineries. Components or “modules” can be coupled together like puzzle pieces to configure systems that FIT the specific working needs of each winery

Oenoflow XL-A System

The Oenoflow XL-A systems are specifically designed to meet the needs and requirements of large wineries and bottlers. Clarification is achieved in a single process step without the need for filter aids, centrifugation or significant impact on the organoleptic characteristics of the wine. By increasing yields, reducing waste volumes and maintaining more consistent filtrate quality, the fully automated systems provide a cost saving sustainable alternative to traditional wine clarification methods.

The system utilizes Pall’s proven hollow fiber membranes with unique mechanical strength and excellent chemical resistance which allow high productivity and repeated exposure to aggressive cleaning regimes. The large surface area modules enable manufacture of compact systems with low water and chemical consumption in line with winery conservation programs.

With customizable operating cycles, process trend recording and a wide range of options, the Oenoflow XL-A system offers an advanced solution with the flexibility required in most modern wine cellars, custom crush and bottling operations.

Oenoclear™ Filter Cartridges

Pall Corporation has designed the OenoClear cartridges for the wine industry as a complete, reliable and economical alternative to sheet (pad) filtration. A fully enclosed hygienic cartridge filtration assembly can be utilized in applications such as final clarification, pre-filtration and yeast removal in wine processing.

Having been specifically engineered for the wine industry, OenoClear cartridges incorporate a unique, polyaramid membrane in a single open ended (SOE) AB style cartridge to fit in a sanitary housing to ensure complete yeast removal and allow repeated regeneration on-site. This combination of efficient yeast removal and extended service life enable OenoClear filters to replace sheet filtration, offering improved performance and better economics.

PREcart PP II Filter Cartridges

PREcart PP II filter cartridges are extremely robust and high performance pleated depth filters designed for particle removal in food and beverage applications.

The PREcart PP II filter element is designed to meet the high mechanical resistance and compatibility requirements of typical food and beverage production cycles of filtration, sanitization, regeneration and steam sterilization.

It is frequently used in a wide variety of applications requiring excellent particle removal. Satisfying filtrate quality specifications or effectively prolonging the life of downstream final filters, Precart PP II is a proven and versatile solution for the food and beverage industry.

Ultipleat High-Flow Filter

The filter is specially designed for high flow applications (>10 m/h). Compared with conventional cartridges, fewer elements are required for a given flow rate, avoiding the use of large housings and enabling major savings in capital, maintenance and operating costs.

Reproducible and consistent absolute rating (ß>5000). Size remove: from 1 micron to 20 micron

Particle Depth Filter Cartridge

These filter cartridges are high efficiency depth style filters constructed of polypropylene. Constructed of polypropylene, with a continuously graded fixed pore structure, these cartridges provide pre- and final filtration within the same cartridge resulting in lower overall filtration and disposal cost.

The filter cartridges provide a removal efficiency of >99.98% in compatible liquids with consistent filtration performance.

Size remove: from 0.5 micron to 100 micron

Particle-pleated Filter Cartridge

The filter cartridges are all-polypropylene pleated filters with high flow and high contaminant holding capacity for longer on-stream life. The filter media is produced by using a proprietary melt-blowing process that delivers exceptional product consistency. It is ideally suited to the capture of non-deformable particles from compatible liquid or inert gas feed streams, characterized by a narrow particle size. Size remove : from 0.2 micron to 50 micron

Steel Filter

Dynalloy® porous metal fiber medium is specifically designed to optimize particulate capture via its asymmetrical graded pore structure. This structure exhibits the finest pores on the upstream side of the filter media, insuring the capture of particulates at the filters’ first surface, where they are easily removed by in-situ, reverse flow operations.

Manufacturing is done completely in-house, including the production of the metal fibers, the formulation of the proprietary base medium, and the design of the element. The process concludes with Pall's scientifically controlled sintering process.

The sintering process fuses the structure of the filter media, insuring a “weld-bond” which utilizes no “binders” that might otherwise shed and contaminate downstream equipment and/or final product quality.
